Where is the line between documentation and storytelling? Photographs have the power to make documentary feel dreamlike, staged scenes seem believable, and the truth merge with the surreal.

In Fact/Fiction, the upcoming Square Print Sale running from October 26–November 1, Magnum photographers and estates present images that explore the fine line between reality and the imagination. From mysterious coincidences to carefully constructed narratives, these images invite viewers to challenge their perception and consider the many ways photography shapes our experience of the world.

Over 70 signed or estate-stamped, museum-quality 6×6” prints will be available online for one week only, with prices starting at $110/£110/€120. For the very first time, photographers were invited to also offer their Square Prints at a larger, 9×9” size.
