Consequences of War

Magnum Photographers

Since its very founding moment Magnum Photos has been there to document war and its aftermath. From Robert Capa’s photographs of the suffering and horror of the Spanish Civil War, though to the horrific aftermath of Hiroshima, captured by Wayne Miller, to Peter van Agtmael’s long term study at the Iraq war and its fall-out in America. Magnum photographers present diverse perspectives on the immediate danger and the devastating consequences of war.
