Trent Parke’s image from The Crimson Line features on TIME

TIME magazine recently published an article exploring the current urgent need for action on climate disaster as the societal disruptions of this year continue to unfold. Justin Worland describes the dangers of post-coronavirus economic policy around the world, writing, “the pandemic has pushed 10 years of anticipated investment in everything from power plants to roads into a monthslong time frame”. The article is accompanied online by an image from Trent Parke’s project, The Crimson Line, whose science-fiction-influenced images of landscape concern industry’s impacts on the environment. The piece also features on the cover for TIME magazine’s July 20 and July 27 print issue. Read it here.
