Inside>>Out is back for its fourth year-in-a-row and the Learn Team is thrilled to announce that, this year, the programme will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria in partnership with BECA School of Photography.
From April 18–23, 2027, Magnum photographers Salih Basheer, Newsha Tavakolian, Bieke Depoorter and Moises Saman will guide participants through an intensive week of workshops.
Inside>>Out is a unique, week-long festival of workshops created to spark creativity, exploration, and artistic growth. Led by four Magnum photographers and welcoming 38 participants from across the globe, the program fosters a space for ideas to be tested, shared, and pushed further.
Over the course of the week, you’ll collaborate closely with your mentor and fellow participants, working in a setting that encourages experimentation, constructive critics, and bold artistic choices. Evenings will open up to the wider community with public talks from Magnum photographers, offering valuable insight into their practice and an opportunity to connect and reflect together.
The Workshops
BECA is a cultural and educational platform that unites a photography academy, gallery space, and publishing house. We build an active community of young authors, mentors, and like-minded people who share a common interest in photography as a visual language and a space for critical thinking.
