Description
Join photographer Myriam Boulos in Paris this November for an intimate workshop taking place during Paris Photo Fair, one of the most important international events dedicated to photography.
Over the course of five days, participants will be invited to enter Myriam Boulos’ deeply personal and uncompromising approach to image-making. Working at the intersection of documentary and diaristic practice, she explores intimacy, youth, identity, and the political textures of everyday life. This workshop offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with her process, from the construction of a visual narrative to the ethics of photographing lived experience.
Through discussions, image reviews, and on-the-ground shooting exercises in Paris, participants will be encouraged to refine their own photographic voice while questioning what it means to look, to witness, and to be seen. The workshop is open to emerging and practicing photographers interested in developing a more instinctive, honest, and situated practice.
Held in parallel with Paris Photo, the workshop also offers immersion in the broader photographic landscape of the moment, connecting individual practice with the energy of the international scene.
This workshop is aimed to be a space for exchange and experimentation.
This workshop offers:
- An in-depth exploration of Myriam Boulos’ approach to documentary and diaristic photography.
- Portfolio reviews, group discussions, and personalized feedback.
- Practical shooting assignments and experimentation in the streets of Paris.
- Access to the vibrant international photography ecosystem surrounding Paris Photo.
The workshop is open to photographers of all levels, from passionate amateurs to working professionals who want to further refine their skills in photography.
