Description

Over the course of five weeks, this online workshop invites you to follow the threads of new ideas and reflect on your practice to discover what truly interests you.

“In my experience, what everyone struggles with is the ideas. Figuring out what you are actually interested in; that’s what everyone struggles with. Me too.” – Jonas Bendiksen

Drawing on over 25 years of experience, Bendiksen will guide you through the key elements of visual storytelling, from developing strong, sustainable ideas, to making perceptive decisions about editing, sequencing, and structure. Together, we will explore how a curious, questioning mindset can fuel both your creative process and your final work.

The easily accessible online format will encourage you to work in familiar territory such as your home or local environment. This flexibility allows you to choose your own setting and build a meaningful project driven by your  personal curiosity.

Throughout the course, you will be encouraged to work with a clear intention while you refine the meaning, approach, and sequencing of your project as it evolves. Each weekly meeting will include group sessions where participants can share their progress, talk through challenges, and receive constructive feedback. Everyone will also have a one-on-one session with Jonas, who will offer his personalized mentorship.
