Newsweek spoke to Steve McCurry recently about his experiences travelling the world and making images of humanity and everyday life in various cultures. The piece coincides with the release of his book, In Search of Elsewhere, which presents previously unseen photographs from across the world, spanning his 40-year archive. Read the interview here. Alessandra Sanguinetti’s advice on long-term projects on Creative Review

Creative Review has interviewed Alessandra Sanguinetti about how she embarked on her multi-decade project following the lives of two cousins, Guille and Belinda, who she met in a rural community outside Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the beginning of her artistic career. Sanguinetti has collaborated with the pair since, resulting in two photobooks to date. Read the Creative Review piece here. Alec Soth: Photographic Storytelling reviewed by Youtuber Kyle McDougall

Kyle McDougall has shared his three key takeaways from the on-demand education course, Alec Soth: Photographic Storytelling, in his video review this week. McDougall’s Youtube channel offers guidance on practicing film photography. The three points drawn out in the video include: ‘being patient and doing the work’, ‘the importance of experimentation’, and ‘embracing change’. Watch the video here.
