uried in Hanoi, and later returned to the United States for burial at Amawalk (45 kms from NYC). Robert Capa was born on October 22, 1913, in Budapest as Andre Friedmann. While on assignment for Life Magazine, on May 25, 1954, he was killed by a mine explosion while accompanying troops in the delta of the Red River along the route between Nam Dinh and Thai Binh.
