urses, lab technicians, and volunteers. Provides consultations for many things including mother and childrenÍs health consultation for immunizations, growth control, PMTCT (prevention of mother to child transmission), etc. Also does family planning and post-partum counseling. UNICEF, Save the Children, and CHAI (missed the name in my notes) are piloting a group venture here for one year. They are also piloting an IT program here that allows test results to be texted via SMS to patients. This decreases the amount of time and effort needed for treatment to begin in infected patients. This is the only facility in the area that does full lab work including Polymerase Chain Reaction to do CD4 counts. Main contact here was Sra Olga. Photographs from this location include the main clinic, labor and delivery, phlebotomy, parasitology, and molecular laboratories. © Eli Reed | Magnum Photos
