(...) ll walks of life as part of the migration wave: Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq. Most of them hadn’t seen water before their journey. When I met them here, it was one year since they had been rescued from the seas, and they were learning how to swim in this pool. For a lot of these kids, water was associated with death.
