"This image comes from my ongoing series 'Figures,' which aims to remove the borders of meaning around specific imagery to inspire cross-cultural assoc
(...) iations. The photomontages from this series are composed of 19th century maps, currency notes and other archival materials. When I mix all the figures and details together it is like writing-creating different phrases within a picture frame."
