hoot photographs. I watch the surfers patiently waiting for the sets to come in and keep an eye out for whales and dolphins. On most days I come home with only steps counted. On this particular day the waves were on the smaller side, bringing out the longboarders who surf 'party waves,' meaning that multiple surfers ride the same wave in a fun and jovial manner. I was watching one in particular who stuck out to me because he decided to surf all of his waves upside down and backward, much to the delight of everyone in the water and on the pier.
