Magnum Learn in Paris
Magnum Photos is delighted to announce its first in-person series of events since January 2020.
Join us for a day or the weekend at the new Magnum gallery in Paris for a weekend of portfolio reviews, lectures and discussions on photography. After over a year of online meetings, we are thrilled to organize an event where we will look at photographic work, discuss ideas over coffee, make space for informal discussion during lunchtime, and reconnect with photographers from different horizons and backgrounds. Leading the workshop over the weekend will be Lorenzo Meloni, Cristina de Middel, Sabiha Çimen and Yael Martínez.
Ephemeral Portrait Studio in Paris
Join Magnum Photos at our ephemeral portrait studio on Sunday 26 September and have your portrait taken by Magnum photographers Cristina de Middel, Alex Majoli, Alec Soth or Bieke Depoorter.
Come alone, with friends, family or your partner, and merge into these renowned photographers’ aesthetic and creativity for a unique and unforgettable experience.
Each photographer will create a unique atmosphere for your portrait.
Magnum Photos Book Market at delpire&co
Opening on Wednesday 22nd of September 6 to 9 pm — A selection of independent and self published books, recent publications, rare editions and prints from the Magnum Photographers. Book signings and more!
Delpire & co is a new place, publishing house, bookshop and gallery situated in the historic space of Delpire, in the heart of Saint-Germain-dés-Prés. Fishbar is a project space based in London, run by Olivia Arthur and Philipp Ebeling dedicated to photography and publishing.
Sabiha Cimen, Sim Chi Yin, Bieke Depoorte, Olivia Arthur, Jérôme Sessini, Thomas Dworzak Jonas Bendiksen and Zied Ben Romhane will be present at the book-signing!
