Description

Antoine d’Agata’s images act as a autobiographical journal, the chronological tale of a disorderly path, an intimate confrontation that feeds on the photographer’s unique capacity to root out an elaborate but instantaneous language from lived situations.

My object is to get photography back to requiring true commitment, to being a language that is unique by its potential subtlety and rawness.

Shooting in his signature graphic black and white, his images are often provocative, regularly inserts himself in the story.
