Beneath the bright lights of Las Vegas, an estimated 1,500 people live in the city’s flood-control tunnels, built in the 1990s to protect the Strip from flash floods. Hidden underground, they form fragile communities where survival depends on trust and vigilance. Among them are Charleen from Tennessee, Elliot from Oklahoma, and Melissa from Pennsylvania.
