Description

In 1966, Thomas Hoepker was invited to take portraits of a young, successful boxer by the name of Cassius Clay, who would go on to become the legendary Muhammad Ali. Over the course of a decade, Hoepker was given the opportunity to photograph Ali multiple times, allowing him to capture the man as well as the myth.

Thomas Hoepker became a full member of Magnum in 1989.
