On 12 February 2016, Michael Douglas poses in the New York City apartment at the edge of Central Park where he has lived for twenty-five years. A few days later, the director and producer Claude Lelouch handed the American actor a second honorary César in recognition of Douglas’ half-century cinema career. Before him, only Jean Luc Godard and Jeanne Moreau had been honoured twice in this way.
