This exhibition presents about 140 works by 8 photographers from the last 80 years: Caroline Cole, Françoise Demulder, Catherine Leroy, Susan Meiselas, Lee Miller, Anja Niedringhaus, Christine Spengler and Gerda Taro. Among the recordings are intimate insights into the everyday life of the war and testimonies of shattering atrocities as well as hints at the absurdity of the war and its consequences.
