The Magnum Photos x PHOTO2020 Portfolio Reviews will provide a significant opportunity for artists and photographers to present their work to leading professionals in the field of photography for feedback and guidance.
Given the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, coupled with the advice of government departments and health authorities, the decision was made to postpone the inaugural PHOTO 2020 International Festival of Photography until 10 – 27 September 2020. As such the programme outlined below, which was originally intended for April, may be subject to change.
The event is aimed at early to mid-career photographers seeking advice on a current project or existing body of work. Each participant will be placed in a group of 11 photographers and participate in two 150 minute review sessions led by one reviewer, during which they will present their work to the group for feedback.

Students selected for the Magnum Photos x PHOTO 2020 Student Intensive will automatically receive a place in the Portfolio Reviews. Students seeking to apply for the Intensive are encouraged to also apply for the Portfolio Reviews should their application be unsuccessful.

The festival itself will take place from the 10th – 27th September 2020, from 10am-6pm
How to Apply
Upon submission applicants must supply:
• Short Biography (500 words)
• Up to a maximum of 10 – 15 images in a PDF document.
Applications will be reviewed by Magnum and Photo 2020 staff and will open in due course. To be notified when the submission window reopens please follow the link below to register interest.
The registration fee for the Portfolio Reviews is $160 full and $145 concession, to be payable upon selection for the portfolio review.
