Magnum Live Lab in Conversation
Magnum photographers Mark Power, Olivia Arthur and Curator Anna Sparham (Curator of Photographs, Museum of London) discuss the Live Lab project.
Live Lab is an experimental project involving photographers Mark Power, Carl De Keyzer and Olivia Arthur. For two weeks in May, the three photographers were in residency in Magnum’s Print Room in Clerkenwell, London, working alongside each other and Museum of London curator Anna Sparham, to respond to the locality and to transform the Print Room into a working lab for a two-week period, printing and editing on site. The resulting exhibition at the Magnum Print Room runs until 14th July.
Further information about the exhibition can be found here
In this talk, Mark Power, Olivia Arthur and Anna Sparham will discuss the Live Lab project, considering the process of making a body of photographic work, reflecting on both their individual responses, and on the collaborative nature of the project.
The Magnum Live Lab is made possible thanks to the kind support of the Arts Council England, King’s Cross, The Hoxton, The Museum of London, F24, and Vovos Better World Fund.
