London Portfolio Review with David Alan Harvey
Receive professional guidance from Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey in London
Magnum is very proud to announce a two days and two nights intensive workshop with Magnum Photographer David Alan Harvey, who will take the participants through group portfolio review and professional development sessions in London.
This is an opportunity for early to mid-career photographers to present work and receive critical feedback from David, Magnum staff and workshop peers, as well as advice on achieving your personal ambitions for your work and strategies for navigating the photographic industry.

Location: The Loft, London Fields (London E2) & Magnum Print Room (London E1)

22nd March 6PM to 11PM
23rd March 9AM to 11PM
24th March 9AM to 4PM
Qualified applicants will be selected through a combination of the merit of their work and their personal statement, and in the order of the application received.

Fees and registration
The workshop fee is £700 (+ VAT) and includes 2 dinners, lunch both days and some drinks. The fee does not include travel or accommodation.
A £100 application fee is required. If accepted, this balance will be applied to the final tuition. If the student is not accepted, a refund of the application fee, minus a £5 processing charge, will be given. Please note, a full schedule and details of speakers will be shared closer to the date of the workshop.

– If a participant decides to cancel for whatever reason, it must be confirmed in writing:
. Magnum Photos will reimburse all the registration costs except for £50 administrative fee, if the participant informs Magnum Photos of cancellation at least 3 weeks before the first day of the workshop. Beyond this time limit, Magnum Photos will charge the following:
. 50% of the cost if cancelled between 6 and 20 days before the workshop commences.
. 100% of the cost if cancelled less than 5 days before the workshop commences.
. All workshops that are commenced but not completed through the fault of either the contractor/or participant need to be paid in full.
– Magnum Photos is not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses in case a workshop is cancelled. We recommend that you buy refundable air tickets and/or travel insurance.
– Magnum reserves the right to cancel a workshop, within 3 weeks prior notice, if a sufficient number of applications isn’t reached.
– The programme and schedule are subjects to change before the submission’s deadline. All participants will receive a detailed schedule ahead of the workshop.
