A survey detailing Henri Cartier-Bresson’s key photographic moments will be shown at Sicily’s Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Palermo.

The selection of 133 images – curated by Fondazione Fotografia’s Vice-president Denis Curti – will pay homage to the pioneering late photojournalist, whose precise crafting of the ‘decisive moment’ has remained a steadfast influence on modern photography.

Spotlighting key moments of Cartier-Bresson’s oeuvre, from the photographer’s early surrealist work to his documentation of the Paris Resistance Movement, with groupings of images chronicling his travels in the 60s and 70s,  the exhibition offers an insightful approach to the late photographer’s modus-operandi.

An exhibition in cooperation with Foundation Henri Cartier-Bresson, Paris.
