Finding Your Vision: Alex Webb and Rebecca Norris Webb Miami Workshop
Intensive 5-day workshop to help photographers understand their own distinct way of seeing the world
Do you know where you’re going next with your photography – or where it’s taking you?
This intensive 5-day workshop will help photographers begin to understand their own distinct way of seeing the world, and help photographers take their work to the next level.
Open to both serious amateurs and professionals alike, it is a workshop that will emphasize the development of your own personal way of seeing by photographing Miami in a direct, spontaneous way. This workshop will also be about learning how to edit your work intuitively, and how to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
The workshop will take place during the Miami Street Photography Festival (MSPF), which runs concurrently with Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Miami, and the other December art fairs in Miami. During this MSPF workshop, there will be talks and other events during the week by the Webbs, Martin Parr, Maggie Steber, Matt Stuart, Richard Kalvar, Jill Freedman, and others.
Travel and accomodation are the responsibility of the workshop participant.
A detailed list of what to bring to the workshop will be emailed to participants once they have been accepted.
Location: History Miami, 101 W. Flagler, Miami, Florida, 33130
Date: November 28, 2016 – December 2, 2016
NOTE: This workshop is for photographers who collaborate with the world, not for those who dramatically alter or change their images digitally.
