Earlier this year, Magnum launched the first edition of Magnum Chronicles. A Brief Visual History in the Time of ISIS, supported by the Newspaper Club, includes over 40 images from the Magnum archive, exploring the history and effects of the fall-out from ISIS and their actions over the recent past.

London’s Frontline Club, a gathering place for journalists, photographers and other likeminded people interested in international affairs and independent journalism will be hosting a talk where they will present and discuss the work. The chair will be journalist Patrick Cockburn, and speakers include Magnum photographer Peter van Agtmael, and Quentin Sommerville is the BBC’s middle east correspondent.
