Chris Steele-Perkins in “Kaleidoscope: Immigration and Modern Britain”
The New Londoners project is featuring in new exhibition exploring identity and immigration in modern Britain
Chris Steele-Perkins‘s work The New Londoners is included in “Kaleidoscope”, a new group exhibition at Somerset House exploring the reality of immigration in Britain today. Steele-Perkins’s project chronicles the faces of families from all over the world who have settled in London, creating a vast record of the city’s unique multicultural make-up.
One of ten photographers with ties to Britain, Steele-Perkins is showing alongside Seba Kurtis, Liz Johnson Arthur and Lorenzo Vitturi. The exhibition is co-curated by Ekow Eshun and Darrel Vydelingum.
