Description

Join designer Yolanda Cuomo for a two-day bookmaking workshop at the Magnum office in New York. Following the introduction to bookmaking on the final day of Magnum photographer Matt Black’s workshop, Yolanda Cuomo will guide you through the various steps involved in creating your first book using your own images.

By the end of the two days, you will leave the workshop with a printed dummy of your book.

This workshop can be taken as a standalone weekend program or as a continuation for participants who wish to further their photobook-making skills after attending Matt Black’s workshop.

Think of it not as a novel but as a play in 3 acts with you as the photographer, editor and designer. – Yolanda Cuomo

  • An introduction to bookmaking by an experienced designer
  • An introduction to InDesign and how to use it to design your own book
