“I first encountered the Xoloitzcuintle breed of dog six years ago on a trip to Mexico. They figure heavily in Aztec myth and were considered a sacred companion in
(...) both this life and the one after. Their skin has an otherworldly beauty, and if I had seen one as a child, I would have thought they were a kind of dinosaur.”
Proceeds from the sale of this print will benefit For The Gworls, which raises money on behalf of Black Trans folks to help them pay for rent and gender-affirming surgeries.
