Every evening at exactly 7pm the Fellows and guests walk over the rooftop from the smoking room of the Senior Common Room to the Great Hall. Although it is not known when the tradition started (there is now a wooden ramp to walk on) it is presumed it happened simply as it was quicker than walking through the Cloisters. - David Hurn
