KENYA. Nyeri. Early on a Sunday morning, the Nyeri Police Force, a company of the King's African Rifles, and loyal Kikuyu Home Guards threw a cordon around the entire village. After the battle the notorious Hika Hika gang of Mau Mau, the dead were brought into the Karatina Police Station. 1954.
