Magnum Photos is delighted to announce that Owen Harvey has been chosen as October's 'Magnum Showcase' winner.

Harvey's work was selected by Magnum photographer Bruce Gilden, under the theme 'Campaign: the marketing of an idea'.

Gilden says 'I chose Owen because it shows me someone who has worked on an interesting personal project over time and done in a credible manner.'

As part of the competition, Gilden has also offered Harvey some feedback on how to pursue and develop the idea.

Details of our November competition under the theme of 'Uplifiting Moments' will be judged by Jonathan Bell, Editorial & Publishing Rep:
