I’ve been with the Chippewa Indians of Sarnia now for four days who are blockading a CN train track that feeds the Chemical Valley (Nova Chemical, Suncor, Terra International, St Clair Ethanol) in solidarity with Chief Theresa Spence who enters her 15th day of a hunger strike in response to Prime Minister Harper's Bill C-45 (corporate) agenda to alter the Indian Act as well as weaken Canadian environmental laws. She intends to fast to death or until he agrees to meet with her. This morning, I arrived and found a tree on the tracks & I couldn’t resist photographing Geronimo with it. I expect to be here for awhile….
