King N. Sihanouk Funeral, Last Days 10
View photo details
February 6, 2013
by John Vink
It turned out to be an in-between-day. I thought the remaining ashes from late King Norodom Sihanouk (see
) were going to be transported from the 'Veal Meru' or cremation site, to the Royal Palace this morning. But no. It will be tomorrow morning. There is already a slight feeling of 'it is over', even though the park in front of the Royal Palace and the streets around it are still more or less empty. The guards have lowered their stress levels, and I was even briefly allowed inside the 'Veal Meru' compound...
All taken with the Sony RX1 (the pics from the previous post as well, but I'm sure you noticed...)
The ebook about King Norodom Sihanouk will be available on the iTunes bookstore soon. Stay tuned...
