A surprisingly large amount (for Cambodia) of about 800 people from the grassroots organisations showed up for an unauthorized demonstration. After a short negotiation with the authorities they managed to march 400 meters from Sothearos Bouleverd to the National Assembly. The recommendations collected during the previous days' workshops were handed over to the Lawmakers, ahead of the ASEAN meetings from the coming days.

The recommendations range from stopping evictions, to halting the abusive granting of economical concessions, respect of Human Rights or fair prices to the farmers for their agricultural products.

The 8 people arrrested yesterday for having refused to take away the S.O.S. signs painted on the roof of their house under threat of an eviction were released.
