IdeasTap Photographic Award: 2012 finalists
October 23, 2012
by London Office
At an exhibition hosted by the new London Film Museum in Covent Garden, Magnum Photos and IdeasTap announced the six finalists in our 2012 Photographic Award.
The exhibition features the shortlist of 12 photographers, aged between 16-30, originally announced in Spring 2012.
The finalists were chosen by Adrian Mott, Course Director, Photography Practice at London University of the Arts, Fiona Rogers, Cultural & Education Manager at Magnum Photos, Olivia Arthur, Magnum photographer, Olivier Laurent, British Journal of Photography News and Online Editor and 2011 Award winner Maria Gruzdeva.
Each finalist receives cash funding and mentoring to produce a dream project, to be submitted in Sping 2013. Two overall winners will be identified, each winning £5,000 and an opportunity to intern in Magnum's international offices.
The exhibition runs at the The Flower Cellars, London Film Museum, 45 Wellington Street, London, WC2E 7BN until 26th October.
