Magnum Photos in partnership with IdeasTap are delighted to announce the winner of the December 'Magnum Showcase', Roxanne Gatt.

Gatt was chosen by December judge, Magnum photographer Alec Soth, in response to the theme of 'Road Trip'.

Soth says 'Gatt's pictures stood out for their ephemeral quality. They felt less like staring then a glance. Yet time and again, an unexpected, quirky detail snagged my eye.'

Photographers can now apply for January's Showcase under the theme of 'Memory' to be judged by Magnum's paris based Archive Director, Naïma Kaddour:
