Magnum Photographers
The Daily Gallery
November 29, 2012
Since the beginnings of the medium, "the reflection" has been an aesthetic trope utilized by photographers of all genres and styles. From Erwitt to Soth, Gilden to Stock, the Magnum archive is chockfull of photos that house reflected images somewhere in their frame. So today, The Daily Gallery explores visual reflections: the many ways Magnum photographers have used them and how they can conceptually define a photograph.
