On April 12th, former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has announced that she will seek the Democratic Party's nomination for President. It's long been assumed that she would run for president and is currently the most popular candidate. After her husband, Bill Clinton, left office, Hillary was elected to the US Senate, representing New York.
She previously ran for president in 2008 but eventually withdrew to support Barack Obama, who would later nominate her as Secretary of State.
