Ulm is a charming city of Germany which boasts the tallest Cathedral in the world. This year it celebrates the 125th anniversary of the completion of its tower. The first stone was laid in 1377. At night, when you stand under the cathedral, you might feel - if you are lucky and if you are open to a sense of the divine (strictly non-religious) - your spirit rising with the gothic tower. My retro is in good company.
