Filmmaker David Snyder had recorded hours of interviews with photographer Dennis Stock (1928-2010). Among the many stories that Stock had told about his own photographic adventures, Snyder cut a 12 minute edit concentrating on the former's relationship with one of his most famous subjects, James Dean, who would have turned 85 today.
Having seen the 2015 feature film "Life", a dramatic telling of Stock's 1955 James Dean story for Life Magazine, and not agreeing with the depiction of the Stock-Dean relationship, Snyder thought to use Dennis' own account to set the record straight.
