Café y Caffè. Improving Small Scale Coffee Production.

The program Café y Caffè, carried out by the Istituto Agronomico per l’Oltremare with funding from the Italian Development Cooperation, aims to improve the standard of living of small coffee producers in rural mountain communities, reducing their socio-economic vulnerability and increasing agricultural sustainability.

Through the involvement and strengthening of local associations throughout the chain, the program will also help to enhance biodiversity, promote sustainable development, develop and diversify agricultural production.
