Migrant Workers in Lebanon
In Lebanon, an estimated 176,500 migrant workers, mostly women employed as domestic help, face harsh exploitation under the kafala system, which ties their residency to a sponsor who often controls their lives. The Israeli war worsened their plight, leaving many abandoned or trapped. On assignment with Médecins Sans Frontières, photographer Myriam Boulos documented the critical response and support of health clinics in Bourj Hammoud.
